Lithology and Thickness
In the southern sections - alternation of sandy limestones-rudstones, fine- and medium-grained sandstones, clay and siltstone (aleurolite) interlayers are rare. In the north - gray hard detrital sandstones. Thickness 20-72m.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Lies conformably on the Karikansay Fm or Kharangon Fm
Upper contact
Overlain conformably by the Gazdagan Fm or Yangilyk Fm.
Regional extent
South-West, South Gissar. Corresponds to the local zone of Caprinula soluni and Eoradiolites kugitangensis. (56; 114; 166; 189; 190; 458; 452).
